We would like to invite students to join the course which will be co-organised with Universitat Politècnica de València.
Course name
Developing professional communication skills around the UN’s 17 Sustainability Goals in Polish-Spanish teams
Requirements
- English: B2+/C1
- Spanish: A2
Objectives
- developing intercultural skills with a special emphasis on cultural awareness,
- improving communication skills in a professional environment (giving presentations, giving and receiving feedback, facilitating conversations, reporting),
- working on a small project in a bilingual team,
- practising English and Spanish in real-life as well as professional situations,
- acquainting students with modern sustainability challenges,
- familiarizing students with agile methodologies (SCRUM),
- developing workload management skills,
- expanding professional English vocabulary,
- understanding cultural similarities and differences between Poland and Spain.
Time
Wednesday, 16.15 – 17.45
Assessment Criteria
- regular attendance,
- oral contributions,
- working with Spanish partners,
- delivering the final project in a bilingual team in English with basic elements in Spanish,
- showing the progress on presentations.
