1. Programme for students who began their studies after 1 October 2024
General Information

Classes of mandatory C1 Academic English (60h) for all students start on semester 1 (unless they qualify for an exemption – see below).

All students – to complete the foreign language curriculum, must complete a total of 180 credit hours of foreign languages and pass the C1 Academic Exam.

In order to sign up for classes other* than the mandatory C1 Academic English, within the 180h limit, students must pass the C1 Academic Exam.

Students who qualify for the exemption from C1 Academic English and Exam should contact: ewa.drowanowska@pw.edu.pl and enclose a scan of the relevant certificate, student ID number, faculty (MEiL), and semester of study (I-VI).

2. Programme for students who began their studies before 1 October 2024
General Information
- All students must take 120 credit hours of a foreign language before successfully completing their programme of study.
- Foreign language courses are incorporated in the model curriculum of studies for semesters 2, 3, 4 and 5 (Polish-speaking students) and semesters 1,2, 4, 5 (international students).
- All students (both Polish-speaking students and international students) admitted to the Faculty must pass the English exam at C1 Academic level before successfully completing their study programme.
