Before you take a plane

Before you take a plane to Poland, remember to take with you (checklist):

  • valid passport with Visa,
  • Acceptance Letter to the Foundation Year Programme,
  • travel insurance,
  • original English Language Certificate,
  • signed Participation Agreement in Foundation Year Programme in the original,

How to get to our Office from the Warsaw Chopin Airport?

Directly from the Warsaw Chopin Airport

Bus and tram

You should take bus line no. 188 at the bus stop – Lotnisko Chopina – Przyloty 02 in the direction of Gocławek Wschodni. You should get off this bus at the bus stop GUS 05. Then, you should go to the tram stop GUS 04 and take one of the tram lines: no. 17 or no. 33. You should get off one of these trams at the tram stop Koszykowa 04. From the tram stop Koszykowa 04 walk on foot for about 5 minutes to 79, Koszykowa Street where we are located – the Business School, WUT.

Travel time:

  • Bus line no. 188 (20 to 30 minutes),
  • Tram lines no. 17 or no. 33 (about 5 minutes),
  • Walk on foot to our Office (about 5 minutes).

Total time of the journey to our Office from the airport: 40 to 50 minutes.

Taxi

You can also take a taxi from the Chopin Airport. Our office address is Koszykowa 79. Remember to use an official taxi corporation at the airport. You can find it right outside the Arrivals Hall.

Welcome to Warsaw!

Warsaw is the capital of Poland. Warsaw is a huge bustling city. Our University (WUT) is located in the center of Warsaw. All around you will find shopping malls, supermarkets, restaurants, parks, museums, art galleries… and many more interesting places!

Foundation Year is located very near to the shopping mall Złote Tarasy, the Palace of Culture and Science, and the Central Railway Station.

Nearby Foundation Year there is Koszyki Hall – a historic market and food hall. Nowadays, you will find here great restaurants, bars, shops, and services. Koszyki Hall is a perfect place to hang out with classmates during a long break between classes or even after them.

When you get to our office, you can grab a map of central Warsaw and a guidebook of the top places to visit in Warsaw. Warsaw is full of worth visiting places like the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Old Town, the Copernicus Science Centre, and many museums and art galleries.
