B2 Exam – Basic information
Each student of full-time degree course in Polish is granted a foreign language course ticket to follow a standard programme leading towards the final examination at the B2 level.
People who study at WUT (Erasmus or Erasmus-Mundus programme) can take the B2 exam free of charge only in a foreign language (not their mother tongue), which they attended at WUT during the last semester of the academic year (i.e. who had the appropriate agreement to attend the language classes – either in their Learning Agreement or issued by the Dean of their Faculty and who have passed the course). Classes in a foreign language mean only language classes (e.g. this does not pertain to other subjects conducted in English at English-medium studies). Other people studying as part of these programmes can take the B2 exam upon payment of a fee (information – room 419, WUT Main Building).
The Foreign Language Centre/WUT is an authorised test centre offering the MONDIALE Online Technical Tests, certifying your language competence in technical English at levels from B1 through to C1.
Our English Language Centre (ELC) is a Pearson Test of English General Authorised Test Centre. The test can be taken at all levels. Students who pass the test at level 3 are exempted from the university B2 examination in English.
