Courses

The Foundation Year Programme is divided into two semesters. During each semester Participants of the Programme have six courses to pass. The total number of learning hours during the Foundation Year Programme is: 600 hours (300 hours per each semester).

Courses conducted during the Foundation Year Programme:

Courses conducted during the winter semester:

  • English (60 hours),
  • Polish (30 hours),
  • Polish Culture (30 hours),
  • Mathematics (60 hours),
  • Physics (60 hours),
  • Introduction to Information Technologies (60 hours).

Courses conducted during the summer semester:

  • English (60 hours),
  • Polish (60 hours),
  • Mathematics (60 hours),
  • Physics (60 hours),
  • Introduction to Engineering (30 hours),
  • Chemistry (30 hours).

After each semester Participants of the Programme have the Examination Session. During the Examination Session, Participants have exams in every course conducted during the semester.

At the end of Foundation Year each student will receive a Certificate of Completion. In order to obtain it the student must pass all the compulsory subjects offered in Foundation Year and have regular attendance.
